Contributions to a campaign and personal information can be anonymous in a public-facing manner only.
This means the campaign owner and ConnectionPoint employees can see the information you provide. However, that information will not be visible to anyone viewing the campaign. Contributions to a digital fundraising campaign cannot be 100% anonymous to the organization collecting the funds, as is stated by law. If you have further questions, please refer to our Privacy Policy or contact us at cs@connectionpoint.com.
When you are making your contribution (on any platform), you will have the option to hide your personal information, your contribution amount, or both:
Can I make a past contribution anonymous? #
Absolutely. In your user account Contribution list (see this article for help getting there), click the expand icon next to the contribution in question.
Then, click ‘View/Edit details’ in the new window.
The option to make your contribution and/or name hidden from the public is under the post details. Don’t forget to save!
