Campaign ‘updates’ are posts on a campaign that are continuations of its story. Updates can be about anything, from what the funds are being used for to shipping delays for reward items.
What are campaign updates? #
What’s written in a campaign story is only the beginning – no matter which platform is being used, no matter what the project is, there is always a story, and that story continues as the campaign collects funds. Project owners use this tool to keep supporters informed about what the funds are being used for.
When the campaign owner posts an update, notifications are emailed to all supporters who either donate or subscribe to a campaign. In the email notification will be a link to the update. ‘Unsubscribe’ options will always be provided at the end of the email in case you change your mind about receiving them (for information on unsubscribing from other ConnectionPoint platform emails, view this article).
Where can I view them? #
You can either click the link in the email you receive or click the ‘Updates’ tab in the story section of the campaign.
