All or Nothing Campaigns: I’ve hit my goal! What now?

First things first: Pat yourself on the back! Congratulations!

There are two things to do:

  1. Charge your supporters.
  2. Decide what to do with your campaign.

Part 1: Charge your supporters. #

STEP 1 – Click ‘Transactions’ in the sidebar menu.

STEP 2 – When ready, click ‘Charge supporters now.’

STEP 3 – Confirm.

Part 2: Decide what to do with your campaign. #

Unless you previously chose to end your campaign automatically once you hit 110% of your goal (see this article), you have three options now:

  • Wait to charge your supporters and continue to accept pledges.
    • NOTE: This is NOT recommended because the longer you wait, the greater the chance you will have failed transactions when you choose to charge supporters. If you choose to wait, we recommend voicing your reasons to your current supporters, so they know when to expect charges.
  • Keep the campaign running as a “Keep it all” in whatever layout you’d like. Contributions will automatically appear in your payment processing accounts as they come in, instead of being pledges. See this article for more on the differences between Keep-it-all and All-or-nothing.
  • Finish the campaign.
