ALL OR NOTHING CAMPAIGNS: What happens when an all-or-nothing campaign goal is reached?

Hit your all-or-nothing campaign goal? Congratulations! Your campaign is a success, and you can now charge supporters!

First things first: Pat yourself on the back! Congratulations!

There are two things to do:

1. Charge your supporters.
2. Decide what to do with your campaign.

Part 1: Charge your supporters. #

STEP 1 – Click ‘Transactions’ in the campaign’s navigation menu.

STEP 2 – Click “Charge supporters now.”

Please note that some transactions might take up to 48 hours to complete.

STEP 3 – Confirm

Part 2: Decide what to do with your campaign after reaching your all-or-nothing campaign goal. #

Unless you previously chose to end your campaign automatically once you hit 110% of your goal (see this article), you have three options now:

• Wait to charge your supporters and continue to accept pledges.
  • NOTE: This is NOT recommended because the longer you wait, the greater the chance you will have failed transactions when you choose to charge supporters. If you choose to wait, we recommend voicing your reasons to your current supporters so they know when to expect charges.
• Keep the campaign running as a “Keep it all” rollover campaign in whatever layout you’d like. Contributions will automatically appear in your payment processing accounts as they come in instead of being pledges. See this article for more on the differences between Keep-it-all and All-or-nothing.
• Finish the campaign.
