Categories allow viewers to find projects they might want to support.
We categorize projects so that users and visitors can find different campaigns based on their interests or search for campaigns they know exist but might not have a link to. This is not meant to be a significant source of conversion for projects but rather a way for communities to grow organically around causes and/or creative similarities.
Don’t stress about choosing the ‘perfect’ category. You can always change it!
STEP 1 – Click ‘Edit’ in the sidebar menu of your campaign.
STEP 2 – Under ‘Story,’ you’ll see the options to change categories. The category options are dependent on the platform you are using.
STEP 3 – SAVE!!
