Main Campaign Goal #
The Main campaign goal is the overarching amount you’d like to raise for the whole project and is set during the campaign signup flow.
If you need to change the Main campaign goal, read how to do so here.
You may have your main campaign goal be an accumulation of the sub-campaign goals – this is called an aggregate goal.
NOTE: This is not recommended for campaigns where outside fundraisers may choose their sub-campaign goal (such as Peer-to-peer or DIY layouts in FundRazr, CoCoPay, and PetFundr). All it takes is for one cheeky person to say they’d like to raise $50 million dollars, and then your main campaign’s viability will look a bit… off. Unless they do raise you $50 million… in which case our founder, Daryl, will shave his head and dye his scalp purple.
You may turn this on by going to ‘Sub-campaigns’ and then ‘Sub-campaign settings’ in your main campaign:
Then toggle ‘Show aggregate goal on the main campaign?’ to Yes.
Sub-campaign goal #
The sub-campaign goal is the amount to be raised for that sub-campaign only, and each sub-campaign may have a different goal. The sub-campaign goal may even be higher than the main campaign goal if you have a use case for that.

This goal can be set manually or influenced by the team members’ goals. Read this article for more info on how team member goals influence sub-campaign goals.
