An All-or-Nothing campaign + success = Rollover campaign!
After an All-or-Nothing campaign succeeds, choose to ‘Finish’ it or allow it to keep running as a ‘Keep-it-All’ campaign.
All-or-nothing campaign types collect pledges (promises of a contribution) and put a hold on the supporter’s payment option. If the campaign reaches its goal before its deadline, it’s considered successful. Then, the campaign owner chooses when to charge their supporters.
Once rolled over, the campaign completes transactions immediately upon contribution. The campaign does not have to have a deadline or a goal (but it can if the owner chooses to have one).
Why is a rollover campaign helpful? #
Did you hit your goal, but can you still use any extra funds for the project? Perhaps you’re raising funds for a new building for your nonprofit. You have the minimum needed to complete the base project, but perhaps some helpful extras can be added.
Or, perhaps you are a creator who hit the goal needed to fulfill your promised rewards, and now you want to run an online ‘store’ with rewards continuously available and fulfilled upon contribution.
Rollover campaigns can be beneficial for continuing your project! Contact our success team if you’d like more info!
