By default, all campaigns allow commenting to encourage relationship-building between campaign owners and their supporters!
Important: All supporters are able to comment when they make their contribution. This article refers to anyone viewing your campaign.
Commenting allows supporters (or potential supporters!) to ask questions, hype you up, talk about past experiences with you or your organization/brand, and generally get to know you. This type of relationship-building helps with campaign success and creates loyal supporters for future campaigns.
However, if you have a reason to disallow comments, you may do so. Please let us know if your campaign is experiencing high levels of spam or harassing comments. Our platforms should be a place of inclusion, encouragement, and positive interactions. Harassment will not be tolerated, and we want to know if it is happening to you.
STEP 1 – Click ‘Settings’ and then ‘Privacy’ in your navigation menu.
STEP 2 – Under ‘Comments,’ make your choice to Allow or Disallow, and you may also choose to keep or delete existing comments.
