A campaign story video increases your chances of meeting and exceeding your goal. So, take the ultimate step to crowdfunding success and put a video into your story explaining your project!
Important: Videos marked as ‘private’ on YouTube or Vimeo won’t upload.
A campaign story video may only be uploaded to the editor via YouTube or Vimeo.
However, you can upload videos from your computer or record them directly onto the campaign in your media gallery.

Campaign video tips #
- Don’t make it long! 1-2 minutes is plenty
- It does not have to be professionally done – for most campaigns, a smartphone is all you need
- The one exception to this is if you’re running a large (>$50,000) professional creative crowdfunding campaign on Crowdfundr for a big project. In this case, professionalism is more important.
- Don’t stand in front of a busy background, but also don’t use a boring background. Try going outside on a nice day, in a park or quiet place in town with a nice background that doesn’t draw too much attention away from you.
- Include your main story points
- Do NOT forget the call to action! You’re asking supporters to contribute (and, more than likely, to share the campaign as well), so ask!
