Organization verification, ConnectionPoint-style. Here’s how to reach for the star!
NOTE: Only organizations can be verified.
ConnectionPoint personally verifies our organizations; this is not an automated option. Your organization must have one completed campaign on any of our platforms and/or be established with a meaningful following in the ‘outside world’ (aka not on a ConnectionPoint platform).
What are the benefits of organization verification? #
If an organization is verified, it will increase its privileges as follows:
- The contact import limit will increase from 1,000 to 10,000
- Enables bulk campaign team invites
- Rewards become editable even after they have been claimed.
Plus, verifying puts an additional level of trust in your organization. When potential supporters, who may not be as familiar with you, see your profile with the verification tag, it tells them that ConnectionPoint confirmed the organization’s identity.
It’s not a secret that fraud is everywhere on the internet, and some people attempt to impersonate even well-known organizations. It’s simple enough to grab a logo and brand colours off an organization’s website and customize an organization profile with these parameters. Organization verification takes away the guesswork in these cases (which are rare but do occur).
