Allow fundraisers to name a beneficiary if they are running a campaign for a loved one.
NOT AVAILABLE IN CROWDFUNDR
If your organization runs a main campaign allowing fundraisers to register and raise funds for themselves or a loved one, provide the option to name a beneficiary so supporters are clear on who the funds are for.
For example, a cancer clinic on CoCoPay will allow patients to register campaigns under their main campaign to raise funds for treatment. Often, a friend or family member will run the campaign while their loved one focuses on healing. As trust and transparency are pivotal for success, naming this beneficiary adds an extra layer of understanding about the campaign.
STEP 1 – Click ‘Registration’ and then ‘Registration settings’ in the navigation menu.
STEP 2 – Scroll to ‘Prompt for beneficiary’ and toggle to ‘Yes’
STEP 3 – Save.
