New in 2023 – you can change campaign types before you launch! Make a mistake in the creation or change your mind? Before you launch, switch your Keep-it-all campaign to an All-or-nothing campaign (or visa versa)!
Important: You may only change your campaign type BEFORE you launch your campaign!
Two crowdfunding campaign types are available for all ConnectionPoint platforms: keep-it-all and all-or-nothing.
Keep-it-all types charge supporters immediately upon their contribution, and the funds go directly to your Stripe or PayPal account (minus applicable fees). Remember, ConnectionPoint does NOT hold funds. These campaigns have optional goals and deadlines and are good for projects that can use any funds that come in.
All-or-nothing types collect pledges, which are held on accounts or cards as opposed to immediate transaction charges. Campaign goals and deadlines are mandatory. These campaigns are good for projects that require all funds before they can move forward, and there is no risk of anyone (campaign owners or supporters) losing funds if the campaign is not successful.
