Pause, restart, or finish a campaign at any time.
You can start your campaign at any time – there are no restrictions on how long you have to edit it. If you’ve accidentally launched a campaign before you are ready, ‘Pause’ it to stop the clock and prevent any contributions. Pausing a campaign will also remove its searchability on the platforms’ ‘Find’ pages and third-party search engines.
Restrictions to remember:
- You can ‘pause’ a live campaign.
- You can restart a ‘paused’ campaign.
- You canNOT restart a ‘finished’ campaign.
- If you have an All-or-Nothing campaign, you cannot reset the campaign timer once you’ve hit ‘Launch.’ You may only pause the campaign.
- If you have a Keep-it-All campaign and have not yet received any contributions, you may reset the ‘Days running’ to zero. See this article for more information.
These options are now in the campaign status section of your navigation menu, which might be green, orange, or red, depending on the current status:

If your campaign is still in draft mode, click the Launch button to activate it, and then you can begin to share with your social network.

Please note: If you registered a sub-campaign under an organization, you may have restrictions on starting or stopping your campaign. Restrictions may also apply if you are running a campaign under one of our outside partners’ platforms.
