A Crowdfunding Story Case Study to explore why FundRazr’s 7 Campaign Story Guidelines are so effective!
Writing the story for a campaign – no matter what you’re crowdfunding for – can be frustrating and challenging. Even if you’re a natural writer, there is likely too much information to sift through to land on a compact, effective story.
We use the Worry Monster campaign example often. Not only is it a phenomenal cause, but the organization that ran it (The Pathstone Foundation) wrote a wonderfully compelling story. Following our 7 Campaign Story Guidelines, this campaign guides supporters through what problem needs solving and how they plan to solve it.
And it begins with one of our favourite opening lines. Because this campaign was in response to the mental health implications of the pandemic lockdown, it’s the perfect example of using one sentence to bring the reader into the right mindset.
