How to clone a campaign

A wonderful timesaver – clone a campaign to copy everything from that campaign EXCEPT contributions.

This is handy if you run the same campaign type every year (or multiple times a year) and don’t want to reinvent the whole campaign each time.

Note for sub-campaigns – if you have custom registration on your main campaign, the registration settings will be cloned alongside the main campaign. However, you cannot clone the sub-campaigns. Sub-campaigns can only be cloned if there is NOT custom registration attached.

Media content (pictures and videos in the media gallery) is optional to clone alongside the campaign.

STEP 1 – If you are viewing your campaign, click the gear/cog icon in your screen’s upper right corner while viewing the campaign, then ‘Clone campaign.’

STEP 3 – Decide which feature to clone and hit ‘Clone campaign.’

Note – this is a sample campaign with Sub-campaigns and custom registration. You’ll notice it is impossible to ‘check’ the Sub-campaign field, and you cannot uncheck ‘Registration.’ These options are available to other campaign types.
