SNAP benefits were reduced in February, and New Bethany served a record-high 151 lunches from its Southside Drop-in Center on May 26, which is an 80% increase over the same day in 2022. New Bethany’s Choice Food Pantry has seen a 77% increase in households seeking access to groceries between April 2022 and 2023, and the organization's northside kitchen has seen a 15% increase over the same period. The generosity of people like you makes the services of New Bethany possible. Providing meals each day, housing and case management services, a place to sleep, a place to shower, a place to get mail.... daily tasks we take for granted. Last year our small community raised close to $2,500 - 100% of which went directly to New Bethany services. I am raising our goal to $3,000 this year and ask that you support in whatever amount possible. Thank you!
