Realize Your Potential (RYP) Youth Society is an inspiring and impactful community-based, non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth, particularly those from the African Diaspora. Based in Alberta, RYP is driven by a vision of creating a space where young people, especially those facing systemic barriers, can thrive, succeed, and fully realize their potential.

At RYP, we focus on fostering an environment that values cultural identity, embraces diversity, and recognizes the unique experiences and strengths of each individual. We aim to support and uplift youth by providing a range of services that include mentorship, educational programs, health and wellness initiatives, leadership development, and economic opportunities. These offerings are designed to help youth navigate challenges, build self-confidence, and grow into leaders who will positively impact their communities.

Our organization is led by Black youth, ensuring that the programming and initiatives we offer are culturally relevant and meaningful to those we serve. We recognize the importance of fostering confidence, promoting education, and encouraging entrepreneurship, all of which help youth from the African Diaspora break through barriers and achieve success in various fields.
