The Special Olympics a great day for the athletes to have the time of their lives having all the attention on them having fun.  I've volunteers for almost 30 track and field days at TC Roberson High School stadium. I've observed not only the athletes having fun, but their peer buddies from local schools learning so much empathy and compassion when they assist their buddy for the day of fun.
