I actually started my career by working for Jericho Road Community Health Center, a nonprofit that is supported by the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County (UWBEC). Ever since that experience I have been very passionate about being involved in the Buffalo community and doing my part to serve and make an impact with organizations that do the same. When I found out about about UWBEC's young professional network, Next Generation United (NGU),  and saw they were doing exactly that — and for my age group — it was a match made in heaven.
