ABOUT THE FILMMAKER

My name is Reine Solkem-Masra, I am originally  from Chad, but i grew up in Central African Republic and I am an independent filmmaker, psychology student, wife, and mother of three. My journey has included many challenges, but through faith, healing, and community, I have learned the power of resilience and second chances.

Grace in Disguise Part II: The Cost of Letting Go is deeply personal to me because it is inspired by real emotions and experiences of heartbreak, healing, forgiveness, and finding peace. Through this film, I hope to remind others that healing is possible and that sometimes letting go is the first step toward becoming who we are meant to be.

My goal is to create stories that inspire hope, encourage healing, and help people feel seen and understood.
