I have been a practising Artist for most of my adult life and, before finally committing full-time to my art, I also spent several years working in the field of creativity and creative learning. I currently weave my own sort of artistic 'magic' in the wild gloriousness of West Cornwall (UK), with my two true loves: Guitar Maker, Graham Emes, and our young daughter Stormy.

Often inspired by inner, energetic landscapes, my intuitive and expressive artwork has evolved to sometimes include the depiction of otherworldly realms and beings of non-ordinary reality. Wolf also features frequently in my drawings and has long been a kind of guardian companion to my creativity.

Mainly working in acrylic, ink, watercolour and PMC sterling silver, I am passionate about making intuitive paintings, mystical drawings and illustrations, wildish writings and handsculpted jewellery. It is my hope and intention that The Art of Lauren will connect with adults and children alike, in ways that enhance their wellbeing and self-esteem, while encouraging creative expression, too. 

I have lots of creative ideas and plans for future projects. I’m very excited to share them on this Fundrazr platform over coming years to involve and connect with like-minded souls, bringing these ideas to fruition, if possible (fingers crossed)! By the way, I like to plant a tree via Tree Nation for every sale I make of artwork or piece of jewellery, as a way of giving back to the planet, our home. I intend to do the same here and pledge to plant a tree for every donation I receive towards any current and future campaigns…🌳💚
