Cancer is so common and it feels like something that medical science should be able to overcome with the right research. It has been so devastating for me to see family and friends suffering and dying from cancer, especially when they don't have access to good, affordable healthcare. I am riding to raise awareness about how cancer impacts people who live in countries with inadequate healthcare systems and the importance of accurate early diagnosis and treatment. Maggie's Cancer Center and The Irish Cancer Society do amazing work both in terms of research and in helping people suffering from cancer to get through it.
