Two moms turned independent authors from Calgary and Okotoks, Alberta, Canada. Who have navigated through diagnosis and remain to advocate for their children while empowering others to do the same.

“We want to support others! It is our ultimate goal and as parents of special needs children ourselves, WE UNDERSTAND”

Shelly Jaques (aka Julia Strange) & Jessica Neilsen (aka JN Supermom) have also come together to create a workbook called Parent’s Survival Guide - Keeping Your Sh*t Together is a workbook to help organize the chaos through diagnosis and is designed for parents, family, and workers who are going through, have just gone through, or are supporting someone going through a diagnosis. This book is filled with their stories, tips, tricks, activities, as well as tools to help ease the everyday struggles of a diagnosis, schooling, hiring aids, paperwork, and more.
