The motivation behind starting a nonprofit is so that other families don't have to struggle with the decision if their child(ren) can play competitive sports (travel) outside of intercollegiate sports (school districts). It has been extremely expensive for our family and though the rewards are great we have sacrificed a lot. If My son and I can relieve that burden for families, we would have fulfilled our mission of alleviating that financial burden on families.  To witness a child be able to play when their families could otherwise not be able to afford it will be such an emotional reward for my son and me.
