Hi everyone! My name is Efua Emil, and I am passionate about Jesus and sharing His love with others. Growing up in a Christian home, I gave my life to Christ at a young age. When I encountered the Lord, I was captivated by Jesus’s heart for healing the sick, comforting the broken-hearted, and laying down His life for the salvation of others - this love is so pure and sacrificial that it truly transcends all human understanding. 

I am excited to embark on a mission’s trip to Uganda, where I’ll have the privilege of working with children and youth. I care deeply about creating spaces where people feel valued, heard, and seen - this mission’s trip aligns perfectly with my heart for empowering others and being a vessel of hope and comfort. 

At my church, I serve in the prayer ministry and young adults ministry. It brings me joy to connect with others, pray with them, and create a space where they feel loved and cared for. Professionally, I work as a Team Lead with the provincial government, where I support the facilitation of employment programs that help students and recent graduates launch their careers. 

My greatest joy comes from encouraging and building others up, as well as holding space for others to share their stories. I feel blessed and honored to serve in this capacity, and I’m excited to reflect the love of Christ through compassion, empathy, and action. I pray that through this trip, God’s love and light will shine in ways that transform lives—including my own!
