As a world language teacher since 2007 in the Beaverton Schools, I am passionate about sharing the beauty, joy and personal growth that can come from visiting a new culture or country.  People make new friends, develop new points of view, and discover new life paths. 

As an IB teacher, my goal is to develop open-mindedness and critical thinking in my students.  To show them new perspectives... Because when we meet real people up close, it is difficult to harbor anger and foster stereotypes we may hear portrayed in the media.   

We are not only learning language, but the skills necessary to develop a better and more peaceful world.

Southridge French: Help us with new maps and readers

The new Southridge French classroom needs better maps to accurately reflect new French regions and French-speaking places in the world. We also need to grow our classroom library to have class sets of two of our favorite titles.
