I am a single mother of two teenagers. I live in
Belgrade Serbia.
Our story is not an easy one. It is complicated. I have a permanent
job, but here in Serbia there is absurdity between the costs and
wages, so you have costs like elsewhere in Europe and wider, and wages
two or three times smaller. I and my family are facing financial
difficulties due to the complicated family situation which preceded
the current period of life, and my son's health problems * Diabetes
type 1 for 6 years and Obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD) diagnosed
in 2016.
That is why I am asking for help which can provide eight cats in
our home medical care and quality living.
I have been taking care of cats, and for almost my entire life many
cats have passed through my life and they all left an indelible trace
in my heart. It would be very difficult to enumerate them all, from my
earliest days as a child when I was trying to correct human injustice
done to these beautiful beings. And I am still trying, more or less successful.
I have to mention my great love, she was the very first cat I
raised on the bottle. Her name was Mimi, and she lived for 16 years.
She was only a few days old, thrown in a box, and children from
neighborhood brought her to me. It was in 1988.
There are seven cats in our household. , Smaug, Ted.Billy Bonnie,
Vila ,Rose and Dunja Each of them is saved from the street and certain
death. Almost all kit kats in our family have chronic issues .😕
Smaug and Rose have liver issues and they need Hepatic food and
meds every month.
Smaug has also skin problems.
Ted and Billy have Callicy virus which becomes active from time to
time and they need L- Lysine and quality food .
Vila has hip problems it is called Osteogenesis imperfecta (it
happens to cats when they are separated from mother too early and she
probably was not properly fed as a kitten) .She is much better but
under constant monitoring and I give her Salmon oil.
Dunja the last rescue is FIV+
They bring so many joy in our lives, and I dare to say it is a
blessing to be in their company.
