Brittanique Honeyghan — also known as Honey B — is a Jamaican-Canadian singer-songwriter and storyteller whose life and music are deeply intertwined. She began writing and singing at 12 as a way to survive isolation, abuse, and instability. Since her teens, she has endured multiple periods of homelessness, shelter stays, and unsafe living situations brought on by a toxic and abusive home environment. These experiences, compounded by years of harassment, displacement, and systemic neglect, have shaped both her resilience and her mission.

Music has always been her safe space — a place to reclaim her voice, preserve her identity, and transform pain into art. While some of her work addresses survival and truth-telling, she also creates for joy, escapism, and lighthearted expression, using music as both a healing tool and a means of connection.

Honey B’s songs, from empowering anthems like Baddie to reflective tracks like Typical, embody a spectrum of emotions and experiences — from perseverance and personal growth to self-love and fun. Her work is not about chasing fame, but about sharing her story, raising awareness of layered struggles like abuse, homelessness, and harassment, and building solidarity among others who have been silenced.

With over 3 million streams across all platforms, Honey B continues to use her platform to merge art and advocacy — offering hope, validation, and strength to others facing their own battles. This movement is not just about funding music, but about sustaining the voice of a survivor determined to turn lived experience into a catalyst for awareness, healing, and change.
