I have been on the UW committee in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences (EMS) for several years and have been co-chair for the past two. Having been on the PSU UW steering committee, I've been able to see first hand how the money we raise goes to work directly in our community. This event is a great way to highlight the work of the UW and their partner agencies, and to jumpstart our 2023 campaign. By day I'm an academic adviser in EMS, and always a mama to a beautiful 6 year old. With his and my husband's support, I  am ready to go over the edge to raise funds and awareness for the CCUW!! They are my biggest cheerleaders and I hope to make them proud!
