There was a time when I understood what it meant to stay, not because I wanted to, but because there was nowhere else to go.

That reality still exists for hundreds of women and children every single day.

So I decided to build what’s missing.

I’m creating secure Second-Stage Housing for women, children, and pets leaving violence, because safety shouldn’t end after a shelter stay.
