Hello! My name is Michael Resch. I have been taking part in Christian Music Ministry for over 50 years, since the time when I was 15 in January of 1968 when the Pastor of our Church, St. John Fisher in Portland Oregon asked me to lead the newly formed High School aged Folk Mass Group to lead the congregation in song during one of our weekly Sunday Masses. I have led and co-led many Folk Mass Groups since then. Next at St. Mary's Chapel on the campus of the University of Portland, then at the Newman Center at Portland State University, then at St. Mary's Cathedral in Portland, then at the Newman Center near Stanford University, then at The Church of the Nativity in Menlo Park California and finally at North American Martyr's Catholic Church in Lincoln Nebraska. While I was donating my time and talents for these activities, I earned a B.S.M.E. and M.S.M.E. at the University of Portland's Multnomah School of Engineering. After that, I earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering at Stanford University and followed that with a Post-Doctoral Fellowship as a Research Scientist at Stanford. Next, I was appointed positions as an Assistant and then Associate Professor of Engineering Mechanics in the School of Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Later, I founded Resch Engineering, Inc. and served as its President for a decade. During my time as a Post-Doc, Academic, and Company President I engaged in Product Liability Litigation of Implantable Medical Devices as a Daubert-Certified Expert Witness in State and Federal cases all over the United States, testifying for the Plaintiffs.
