Please Help a Dedicated Animal Rescuer, Mother, and Neighbor in Need
Sometimes the strongest people are the ones who face the hardest battles—and keep going anyway. Our friend, neighbor, and fellow animal rescuer has worked tirelessly to care for others, even as life continues to throw challenge after challenge her way.
Over the past year, she has endured multiple car accidents, including being hit by an uninsured driver and, most recently, a hit-and-run red light runner. Each time, she’s had to start over—financing another vehicle, only for the engine to seize, and then finally securing another car that is now also damaged. Through it all, she has continued getting to work every day to support her family.
She is a devoted mother to two little boys, ages 2 and 4, and the primary caretaker for her disabled significant other. Despite countless appointments, responsibilities, and setbacks, she has shown incredible determination. But right now, she truly needs a hand up.
To make things even harder, the mini-split system that provides both heating and cooling for their small mobile home has stopped working. With cold weather already here, she is relying on donated space heaters—causing her electric bill to rise significantly. And still, she finds the time and compassion to help care for the local feral cat population, providing food whenever she can.
How You Can Help
Right now, her most urgent needs are:
Car repair parts so she can safely get back on the road
Help with her electric bill to keep heat running for her children
Cat food to continue caring for the feral cats she lovingly supports
With the holidays approaching, she is heartbroken knowing she cannot provide a Christmas for her boys this year. Any support—big or small—will directly help this family stabilize and breathe a little easier.
You can donate here through the fundraiser, or if you prefer to give directly, please reach out to me for CashApp, PayPal, or Venmo options.
Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and compassion. ❤️
