Main Campaign Goal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The main campaign goal<\/strong> is the overarching amount you’d like to raise for the whole project, which<\/span> is set during the campaign signup flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your main campaign goal may be an accumulation of the sub-campaign goals\u2014this is called an aggregate goal. <\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

NOTE: <\/strong>This is not recommended for campaigns where outside fundraisers may choose their sub-campaign goal (such as Peer-to-peer or DIY layouts in FundRazr, CoCoPay, and PetFundr). All it takes is for one cheeky person to say they\u2019d like to raise $50 million, and then your main campaign\u2019s viability will look a bit\u2026 off.  Unless they do raise you $50 million\u2026 in which case our founder, Daryl, will shave his head and dye his scalp purple. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may turn this on by going to ‘Sub-campaigns’ and then ‘Sub-campaign settings’ in your main campaign:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, toggle ‘Show aggregate goal on the main campaign?’ to Yes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sub-campaign goal<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The sub-campaign goal<\/strong> is the amount to be raised for that sub-campaign only, and each sub-campaign may have a different goal. If you have a use case for that, the sub-campaign goal may even be higher than the main campaign goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
