NOTE: Recurring contributions are not available on the CoCoPay platform.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Recurring contributions can be turned on for keep-it-all campaigns without rewards<\/strong>. As of yet, our platforms don\u2019t have the ability for recurring rewards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These contributions allow supporters to help a project they\u2019re passionate about without having to think too much about it. And who doesn\u2019t appreciate at least one less thing to think about?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Part 1: Setting up recurring donations.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

If you want to allow recurring contributions to your campaign, you must turn them on first!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEP 1 – Click ‘Settings’ and then ‘Funding & deadline’ in the campaign navigation menu.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEP 2: Scroll down to the \u2018Recurring contributions\u2019 section and turn it to \u2018On.\u2019 This will open the different options for this feature.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose whichever options work for your campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important: If you are on the \u2018Optional Tip\u2019 pricing model, these contributions will be switched to the \u2018Fee Recovery\u2019 pricing model. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we were to ask a supporter to contribute to our platform every month\u2026 well\u2026 even we\u2019d be miffed. So, their recurring contributions (and only their recurring contributions) will be switched to the \u2018Fee Recovery\u2019 model, where they will be asked \u2013 once \u2013 if they would like to pay the fees each time the contribution is made. See our pricing model explanations for more information.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEP 3: As always, don\u2019t forget our buddy, the \u2018Save\u2019 button in the top right corner!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Part 2: Modifying recurring donations<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Campaign administrators and supporters can pause, skip, or cancel upcoming contributions anytime.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

STEP 1 – Click ‘Transactions’ in the navigation menu.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the main \u2018Transactions page,\u2019 you\u2019ll see a column in the table titled \u2018Recurring.\u2019 \u2018Active\u2019 means the transaction part of a recurring donation, and \u2018No\u2019 means it is a one-time-only donation. Click \u2018Active\u2019 for the transaction you want to change.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Our tables are \u2018smart\u2019, which means when you zoom in on your browser, columns won\u2019t squish together. They\u2019ll hide the \u2018less important\u2019 columns instead (just don\u2019t tell these columns they\u2019re less important. We value kindness, here).\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, zoom out of your browser to see the options or click on the three dots under ‘Actions’ and then “View or edit details” to see all options for that line item:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEP 3 \u2013 Click \u2018Active\u2019 and a new window will open, with the options to \u2018Pause,\u2019 \u2018Skip,\u2019 or \u2018Cancel\u2019 a running transaction. Choose your option, and you\u2019re done!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recurring contributions and tax receipts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you are a registered non-profit\/charity and are sending tax receipts via the platform, you may choose whether to send one tax receipt at the end of the calendar year or after every transaction. See this article for more info.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
