Text-to-give<\/strong> allows a supporter to text a number and receive the campaign link immediately.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTE: Text-to-give is NOT the traditional form of text-to-donate, where a supporter can text a specific number to have a contribution billed to their mobile carrier.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ConnectionPoint does not support that type of text-to-donate feature. Our Text-to-give (TTG) feature allows a person to\u00a0text a number and receive a link to your campaign<\/a> in response.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use-case example<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m a potential supporter of an art festival (Hiya!). There is a large screen scrolling through different advertisements from entrepreneurs, and I see a favourite artist of mine has a new campaign running. The ad says, \u201cText this number to receive campaign details.\u201d I text the number, and immediately I receive a link. I click on the link, being wowed by the artist\u2019s work, and contribute!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turning on Text-to-give<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

STEP 1: Click \u2018Settings’ and then ‘Marketing’ in the campaign’s navigation menu.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEP 3: Click \u2018Yes\u2019 under \u2018Text-to-give,\u2019 then insert a code (something relevant and easy to remember) into the box to provide to potential supporters.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the platform informs you that your code is unavailable, you\u2019ll have to add another one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEP 4: Click \u2018Apply\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will then see the numbers your supporters can message to receive their campaign link. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
