This glossary defines the common terms on our platforms and in webinars, help articles, toolkits and blog posts. Just to make sure we are all on the same page, you should definitely read this one.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Account user<\/strong>

<\/td>		A person with a registered ConnectionPoint name, email, and password (from any of our platforms).

<\/td><\/tr>
Campaign <\/strong>

<\/td>		A project’s fundraising page

<\/td><\/tr>
Category<\/strong>

<\/td>		A grouping that a campaign could be organized under, based on common characteristics. These are different depending on the platform being used.

<\/td><\/tr>
Contribution<\/strong>

<\/td>		The monetary gift or payment to a campaign.

<\/td><\/tr>
Fundraiser<\/strong>

<\/td>		Someone who registers (or is given) a sub-campaign to raise funds for a main campaign.

<\/td><\/tr>
Layout<\/strong>

<\/td>		Template options for a campaign.

<\/td><\/tr>
Main Campaign<\/strong>

<\/td>		ConnectionPoint’s product offerings, include (but are not limited to) Crowdfundr, FundRazr, PetFundr, and CoCoPay.

<\/td><\/tr>
Organization Profile<\/strong>

<\/td>		For registered organizations only: a page with a specific URL containing the organization\u2019s activity and customized information.

<\/td><\/tr>
Platform<\/strong>

<\/td>		ConnectionPoint’s product offerings, which include (but are not limited to) Crowdfundr<\/a>, FundRazr<\/a>, PetFundr<\/a>, and CoCoPay<\/a>.

<\/td><\/tr>
Pledge<\/strong>

<\/td>		A promise of a monetary give to an All-or-Nothing campaign on the condition that the campaign reaches a predetermined goal by a specified date.

<\/td><\/tr>
Project <\/strong>

<\/td>		The purpose for which someone (organization, creator, individual, etc.) is raising money.

<\/td><\/tr>
Rewards<\/strong>

<\/td>		An item provided to either the supporter or a beneficiary of the campaign in exchange for a contribution. Rewards include perks, wishes, tickets, and products.

<\/td><\/tr>
Staff<\/strong><\/td>A specified group of account users with varying permissions on an organization profile.<\/td><\/tr>
Sub-campaign<\/strong>

<\/td>		A second-tier campaign in a multi-tier campaign. This will have a smaller goal and a more focused story.

<\/td><\/tr>
Sub-category<\/strong>

<\/td>		A smaller, more specific grouping that campaigns could be categorized under. These are different depending on the platform being used.

<\/td><\/tr>
Supporter<\/strong>

<\/td>		Someone who is contributing to a campaign.

<\/td><\/tr>
Team<\/strong>

<\/td>		A specified group of account users with certain permissions for whichever campaign is in question.

<\/td><\/tr>
Transactions<\/strong>

<\/td>		The detailed reporting on the monetary activity that happened for a contribution.

User profile<\/strong>

<\/td>		A page with a specific URL containing the account user\u2019s activity and customized information.
