You may also <a href=\"mailto:support@connectionpoint.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">let us here at ConnectionPoint know<\/a>, and we can try to contact the owner. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:49px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This article helps explain the following three payment errors:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2018The receiver PayPal account is set to block payments in this currency.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2018The receiver PayPal account is set to block international payments.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2018The PayPal email address hasn\u2019t been validated yet.\u2019<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:49px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>These error messages appear for one of two reasons:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your PayPal account is set to block certain payments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your PayPal account is not set up to accept the currency you selected for your campaign.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color\"><strong>Solution for reason #1:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Users with this issue usually have Business PayPal accounts and conduct regular business using PayPal outside of our system. Other websites, such as Amazon or their website, may still work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If this does not sound like you, skip to <strong><a href=\"#solutiontwo\">Solution 2<\/a><\/strong> instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To view and change your settings for blocked payments, please follow these steps:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Log in to your PayPal account and navigate to: My account &gt; Profile &gt; My selling tools&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Then, on the &#8216;My selling tools&#8217; page, to the right of the Block payments item, please click the Update link.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. In the page that loads, please make sure that your account is:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>NOT set to \u201cBlock Payments for the items not sold on eBay from U.S. users who do not provide a confirmed address\u201d&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NOT set to block payments from users who \u201cInitiate payments from the Pay Anyone subtab of the Send Money tab\u201d&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NOT set to block payments in a currency you do not hold&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NOT set to block payments from Student accounts (optional)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DON\u2019T FORGET to save your changes before you leave the page&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color\"><strong>Solution for reason #2:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure your PayPal account and campaign use the same currency.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Example<\/strong>: You have a US PayPal account with a US Dollar balance, but you set up your campaign to accept contributions in Canadian Dollars. PayPal will not allow you to accept Canadian Dollars because you don\u2019t have a Canadian Dollar balance in your PayPal account.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Solution:<\/strong> Either enable Canadian Dollars in your PayPal account or change your campaign to accept US Dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color\"><strong>If you want to accept payments in a foreign currency, you need to enable that currency in your PayPal account. Here\u2019s how:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Login to your PayPal account and navigate to: My account &gt; Overview&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. To the right of your PayPal account balance, locate and click the Currency converter link (see giant green arrow in the screenshot below)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Select the currency to add, and click Add Currency<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color\"><strong>If you want to change the currency you accept in your campaign, follow these steps:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Log in to your account at http:\/\/fundrazr.com\/manage&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Click the Edit link under the picture of your campaign<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Click Funding &amp; deadline on the left side of the page<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Select the correct currency and click Save changes&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong>Important \u2013<\/strong><strong> If you\u2019re following these steps to enable a new currency in your PayPal account because you want to accept funds in that currency through our system, then you must select the same currency in your campaign.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color\"><strong>Why do I need to select the same currency?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>PayPal can only process contributions through campaigns in one currency at a time. It\u2019s not possible to let your contributors choose which currency they want to send. You decide which currency you want to receive, and PayPal will only deposit that currency into your PayPal account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In other words, if someone from Canada contributes to a US campaign accepting US Dollars, then PayPal takes Canadian Dollars from them, converts them into US Dollars, and deposits those US Dollars into their PayPal account. All of this is done in the background during the transaction, and the conversion rate PayPal uses is shown to them onscreen before they complete the transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember that we don\u2019t have access to PayPal\u2019s system, so our support agents can\u2019t provide direct help with any of these steps. This information is for reference only and may become outdated over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need help getting through these steps, please <strong><a
