# What are the differences between Reward Types? Perks, Wishes, Products, and Tickets?

**Rewards are items given to someone (who can be a beneficiary or supporter) in exchange for a contribution. Different types are available on each platform.**

| Type | Description | Examples | Differences |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Perk ![](https://connectionpoint.com/help/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Screenshot-2022-07-22-112009.png) | Anything of value you provide to the supporter for the amount you specify. | T-shirts, thank-you cards, branded swag, shout-outs on a blog/website/off the rooftops, etc. | Tag on the reward will say, ‘**Claim this perk**.’ More common in FundRazr (fundraising) campaigns. |
| Product ![](https://connectionpoint.com/help/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Screenshot-2022-07-22-111922.png) | Anything you’ve created or manufactured for sale. | Comic, tabletop game, music, software, robot butler… the possibilities are endless. | Tag on the reward will say, ‘**Order this product**.’ More common in Crowdfundr (crowdfunding) campaigns. |

You provide the Ticket (as a QR Code) to supporters who contribute the amount you specify. **You cannot offer raffle tickets without a license from relevant government authorities.** | Live or virtual events: webinars, dinners, performances, etc. | Tag on the reward will say, ‘**Buy this ticket.**’ Supporters receive a digital ticket via email with their name and QR code. |
| Wish ![](https://connectionpoint.com/help/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Screenshot-2022-07-22-112047.png) | This is a request for funding for a specific item that does not go to the supporter.  You do not provide the Wish to supporters. Instead, they get the satisfaction of helping you pay for a need. | Provide ten children with weekly lunches, $100 worth of medical supplies, dog training sessions, etc. | Tag on the reward will say, ‘**Grant this wish**’ Supporters do NOT receive anything. |
