# Text-to-give (Organizations only)

**Text-to-give** **allows a supporter to text a number and receive the campaign link immediately.**

**NOTE: Text-to-give is NOT the traditional form of text-to-donate, where a supporter can text a specific number to have a contribution billed to their mobile carrier.**

ConnectionPoint does not support that type of text-to-donate feature. Our Text-to-give (TTG) feature allows a person to **text a number and receive [a link to your campaign](https://connectionpoint.com/help/docs/where-to-find-your-campaign-link/) in response.**

### **Use-case example**

I’m a potential supporter of an art festival (Hiya!). There is a large screen scrolling through different advertisements from entrepreneurs, and I see a favourite artist of mine has a new campaign running. The ad says, “Text this number to receive campaign details.” I text the number, and immediately I receive a link. I click on the link, being wowed by the artist’s work, and contribute!  

### **Turning on Text-to-give**

**STEP 1: Click ‘Settings' and then 'Marketing' in the campaign's navigation menu.**

**STEP 3: Click ‘Yes’ under ‘Text-to-give,’ then insert a code (something relevant and easy to remember) into the box to provide to potential supporters. **

If the platform informs you that your code is unavailable, you’ll have to add another one.

**STEP 4: Click ‘Apply’**

You will then see the numbers your supporters can message to receive their campaign link.

**STEP 5: SAVE!**

Can’t forget that guy!
