# How to turn campaign comments on/off

**By default, all campaigns allow commenting to encourage relationship-building between campaign owners and their supporters!**

**Important: All supporters can comment when they make their contribution. This article refers to anyone viewing your campaign.**

Commenting allows supporters (or potential supporters!) to ask questions, hype you up, talk about past experiences with you or your organization/brand, and generally get to know you. This type of relationship-building helps with campaign success and creates loyal supporters for future campaigns.

However, if you have a reason to disallow comments, you may do so. **[Please let us know](mailto:support@connectionpoint.com) if your campaign is experiencing high levels of spam or harassing comments. Our platforms should be a place of inclusion, encouragement, and positive interactions. Harassment will not be tolerated, and we want to know if it is happening to you.**

**STEP 1 - Click 'Settings' and then 'Privacy' in your navigation menu.**

**STEP 2 - Under 'Comments,' make your choice to Allow or Disallow, and you may also choose to keep or delete existing comments.**
