# Can my campaign contribution be completely anonymous?

**Contributions to a campaign and personal information can be anonymous in a public-facing manner only.**

This means the campaign owner and ConnectionPoint employees can see the information you provide. However, that information will not be visible to anyone viewing the campaign. ***Contributions to a digital fundraising campaign cannot be 100% anonymous to the organization collecting the funds, as is stated by law.*** If you have further questions, please refer to our [Privacy Policy](https://connectionpoint.com/help/docs/connectionpoint-privacy-policy/) or contact us at [support@connectionpoint.com](mailto:support@connectionpoint.com).

When you are making your contribution (on any platform), you will have the option to hide your personal information, your contribution amount, or both:

### **Can I make a past contribution anonymous?**

Absolutely. In your user account Contribution list (see [this article](https://connectionpoint.com/help/docs/can-i-view-a-list-of-every-contribution-ive-made-how-about-tax-receipts/) for help getting there), click the expand icon next to the contribution in question.

Then, click 'View/Edit details' in the new window.

The option to make your contribution and/or name hidden from the public is under the post details. Don't forget to save!
